1. Immediately Contact a Roofing Professional.
Many credible roofing companies offer emergency tarping services. Before you panic or get too concerned and decide to urgently fix the roof through a “do it yourself” process, be warned, repairing these incorrectly yourself can lead to bigger problems.

2. Move Things Out of the Way.
No person desires for his properties to be ruined during a roof leak process. The most advisable thing to do is to clear the area that has the leaking to avoid the destruction of properties through water damage.
Excessive water trap on fabrics like clothes, couch, bed and the likes can also them to smell so it is best to move things that can be damaged by water out of the way.

3. Contain the Water.
When water begins to drop from the ceiling of your home, grabbing buckets, garbage cans, towels, and anything else you can find to capture the water should be a reflex action as it would reduce the impact and damage that water can cause.
